Jeden bod si odváží motocyklový závodník Ondřej Ježek z podniku MS superbiků ve španělském Jerezu. Získal ho díky 15. místu v sobotním závodě.
Dlouhou dobu to dokonce vypadalo na bohatší úlovek, protože český reprezentant se držel skupiny bojující o šestou příčku. „První část byla opravdu super, pak mě soupeři trochu poodjeli. Na závěr jsem mocně stahoval Andreozziho, jenže mi to na útok už nevyšlo. Bylo to velmi náročné, ale jsem spokojený,“ konstatoval brněnský jezdec.
V neděli to bohužel už nedopadlo, tedy přesněji řečeno, padlo. Ježek havaroval, shodou okolností také z patnácté pozice. „Udělali jsme nepatrné úpravy v nastavení motorky, které měly pomoci gripu na zadním kole. Ztratili jsme tím však přilnavost na předku a ta začala být od půlky závodu problémem. Asi třikrát jsem dostal varování a poté jsem už definitivně v první zatáčce skončil na zemi. Naštěstí se jednalo o lehký pád, takže fyzicky jsem v pohodě,“ uvedl.
